Windows 7: laptop freezes after closing it

laptop freezes after closing it

when i close my windows 7 ultimate x64 laptop. And come back to it, it will freeze when i open it back up (i have to do a manual shutdown) i have tried going into the settings and setting the hard drive shutdown to never, but nothing works. Any help is appreciated

I looked at you previous threads and you are sure having a lot of problems.

I think we need to start with basics.

Complete this tutorial by Brink it should give us some helpful information.

I think i fixed it!

i set the network device to have the ability to boot computer, and did a power options automated troubleshoot. and it seems to work fine
