    Hello I have tried everything under the sun to just reset my computer back the way I got it I have this windows xp pro that I'm trying to save my files on I just wanna wipe my computer clean totally

    I'm not sure what you are trying to say.

    1. You are trying to copy files from W7 to XP, correct?
    2. Then you want to format the HDD?
