A few weeks ago, custom built pc started to shut down randomly, I don't know the problem, I already did a full virus scan, nothing showed up. Usually happens when I'm surfing the Internet. Me and my friend built this computer, so I'm not sure if whether it is a hardware problem. Please help...

i would say a hardware issue is not totally out of the question. i would download a program from the following link to a flash drive and run it through several passes to test the ram. The program is called memtest86+. It can be downloaded from the following link:

Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

If after running several passes memtest shows no issues; post back and we can go from there.

Look for the most recent version near the top of the page and download that version.

Ummm so I opened up the case again, turns out a wire was loose (The fourpin), I tightened it and it was fine from there. Thanks for your help!
