Batch copy pictures from web addresses to a desktop folder

My vendor gave me 5000+ web addresses to pictures for products I want to list. My cart system wont allow me to bulk load these using these addresses. I can bulk load them if they are in a folder. Is there a way to batch open and copy them from the addresses to a file folder on my desktop?
