A Problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Please clos

I just got a new copy of windows 7 ultimate 64 bit OS.It was working perfectly for the first day and then whenever i open an application it starts to show this message. This includes the Catalyst Control Center application, explorer(when i open properties of My Computer),when i try to install a plugin (setup like adobe flash player plugin). The only thing that works is the browser and some video players. I've tried to run an sfc verify test and it showed there are some integrity problems in windows..Are they the cause of these problems..will running scannow in sfc solve the problems or should again reinstall my windows.? Till this editing..bittorrent was working fine and then when i tried to open a torrent..it also showed the above message! Please help

the integrity problems might very well be what causes the current problems. The question is what caused the integrity problems.

A computer dealer store.I just replaced my hard disk with a 1 tb one and asked them to install the ultimate for me.That's what I'm using now.And now that i think of it i did plug in a pen drive to watch some movies since my old HDD was kept away.So is it possible that a virus has caused this.I ask this because when i tried to install Kaspersky trial version, the setup also showed the same error. If so is it possible to install the antivirus in any way so that i could get the virus off without having to reinstall 7

    Hi,
You can use safe mode with networking to download these scanners to see if they find anything,
    Safe mode with networking,
Shut down your machine, Unplug-Hold the power button down for 30/45 seconds (Power Drain)
Power up and Tap the F8 key continuously until you see a black page with white text,
Use the down arrow key to toggle to safe mode with networking/ hit the enter key.
    Login as usual
    Other advanced methods,

Review Jacee’s instructions to run Adwcleaner here post #7,
Ignore the title of the thread,
    Instant Savings App
Screen shot of the download button to use for Adwcleaner
You can use these free tools to see if they find anything,
Manually Update them before running full scans,
Try not to use your computer while the scans are running, (one at a time of course).
Uncheck the box to Activate the Free trial from the final install options,
Also use the Custom scan option not the Threat scan,
Select the drive to scan usually C,
If your really infected check the box to scan for Rootkits = this scan option will take several hours to complete,
Never use your machine while scans are running for best results,
Please Do Not clean/ Delete or Remove Any detections before posting the scan results first before review especially Malwarebytes,

SAS is safe to remove anything it finds
    http://www.superantispyware.com/?tag=SUPERANTISPYWARE
This one is the longest up to 4 hours, the others are only about 45 minutes,
    http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Repeat the scan starting Normally,
Use the text attachment feature for all scan reports,
    Cheers.
