laptop wont boot

    laptop wont boot


    stuck on the "starting windows" screen.... thats as far as it gets. any ideas?

    tried startup repair. no luck there.... toshiba satellite A665-S5170

    wont even boot into safe mode.

    Did you make sure you ran Startup Repair 3 times?

    chose that option a few times. but it goes to a blank screen and nothing happens. seems to not be doing anything.


    its not booting so I cant get to dos or safemode or anything

    window boot manager. win failed to start. a recent hw or software change may be the cause.

    status: 0xc000000f

    info: a required device isnt connected or cant be accessed.

    not sure what this means?

    im there now on the screen for #1. I clicked repair. nothings happening. desktop black screen with safe mode on it. but its never finished loading windows it seems

    Work through the Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7.

    If this is the original Toshiba factory install then that is the worst install of Win7 one can have in the first place, so I'd strongly consider using this opportunity to do a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 with our help. You'll get and keep a perfect install as long as you stick with the tools and methods in the tutorial, which includes everything needed.
