    This file can't be previewed

Hello, I'm unable to preview pdf files in the Windows Explorer. How can I troubleshoot this?

I have Foxit set as the default pdf reader. Could this be the issue?

Probably. I never used that. Check inside it's settings for its behavior.

Also, use start menu, default programs' 2nd option to make sure it is using FoxIt as default opener for .pdf.

Ok, will check that out. On a side note, how do you get Explorer to preview file-types that it doesn't recognize natively? Is it possible to add search plugins like with spotlight in Mac OSX?

Update: Removed Acrobat Reader, reinstalled, restarted, and still cannot preview PDF's. This is odd b/c when I fist installed Win 7, I could preview pdfs.
