Will the drive be unlocked after installing new windows
So here's the thing..I have a dell n5050 laptop , it happens that I downloaded a file yesterday which infected my laptop and therefor everytime I restart the compture 3 msgs shows up ( winlogon. Slui . And explorer.exe failed because of the missing sl2.dll file ) I searched on the Internet but found no solution so I decided to install a new copy of windows., a clean one. While installing I first accidentaly formatted the x: partition which I guess was the system reserved partition ln which there is boot files.. not only that but I formatted also the C: drive and theerefor there's no operating system existing.. now whenever I open my laptop it says bootmg ( I guess ) is missing ctrl + alt + dlt to restart, I've tried several things but nothing worked so I'm taking it to a professional .. the thing is I have very important and private files on the e: drive which I already locked it with bitlocker before.. my question is can I not format that drive? If yes will the bitlocker lock be gone if I installed new copy of windows which means that the drive would be accessible to the professional guy? Thank you for helping me.
