What do you do to mark/identify more important folders and files?

Just wondering how do you guys mark/identify more important folders and files? There might be many folders and files in a folder.

What I do is I put a dash at the beginning of file/folder name of the more important/frequently accessed files. Any other ideas? Thanks

    Hello pcwin,

I suppose that you could change the folder preview image to something that makes the folder standout among the others. Of course you would need to use a medium, large, or extra large icon view to see it.

I customize some folders by changing their icons. Makes them easier to find in Explorer. Windows itself uses special icons for the 'My' folders... (Documents, Music, Pictures and Videos).
