lost 600gb of data by restoring a .spf image to wrong drive

Hi, I have a 1 tb hard drive in 2 partitions. a 679Gb partition and a 250 gb partition. i had about 600 gb of files on the 679 gb partition. i had a 513 mb .spf backup image created by shadow protect. i accidentally restored the 513 mb .spf image to the 679 gb partition and then the 600 gb of files were deleted/lost. can someone help me recover the 600 gb of files i lost? the files on the 250 gb partition are fine. i would give $30.00 to anybody if they can successfully restore all the files if it's not against the forum rules of course. this file loss happened today.

You can give Minitool Partition Recovery a try.

I used it to successfully recover a partition on my external hard drive after I accidentally did a quick format.

    You could also try Recuva.

The best way to reward him is with rep. Click the little scales at the top right of his post.

I know this sounds dumb but it's true, the only reward I want is to help someone. I feel good when I can accomplish that.

I'm just glad it helped you and you got most of your data back.
