PC taking long time to startup (boot only)

I have done a msconfig procedure, I haven't tried ccleaner though, I'll reply sooner

What I would do if I saw those times is do a Safe Mode startup.
Here is a tutorial by Brink: Safe Mode

That will give you a very basic Windows startup for services and programs without making any tweaks.
If Safe Mode takes hours, that info can help others here give you the best advice on what to do next to fix this.

Did you disable all startups in msconfig>Startup and >Services after Hiding all MS Services? Only your AV should remain.

Go over your install with Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 which will also help optimize it and familarize you with the tools and methods which work the best.

Thats what I didi yesterday.

I took the hdd and wipe it on my other pc. after wipe, I partition and format the drives. Then put it back to the orijinal pc with new sata cable to a new port. I performed a clean install after all. Now It takes about 10 minutes to start up. only firefox and microsoft security essentials installed. no startup program.
then I used wd 's diagnostic tool for a long test. it took 1 hour 37 mins to finish 320 gigs. No problem at all. I also check the SMART and again no problem.

I switched the ram slots. no change.

What hardware can cause a long start up procces? I have another pc i can exchange and test anything.

So what did Soluto say?

Did you allow Windows Updates to provide your drivers and fully patch the system, or did you force a bunch of drivers like it XP?

Did you check Startup time before installing any Updates, programs or drivers?
