    Programs and web browser hanging and freezing constantly


    Running windows 7 all updated. All programs and firefox now hang and freeze and getting progressively worse. My DAW literally took over an hour to open today, up from 20 min the other day. Lots of shockwave crashes too. White screen, not responding, and the spinning wheel of death. Ran AVG found nothing. CPU is running normally, 4GBs of memory is running around 3GBS seems a little high...not sure where to start for diagnose issue..thanks in advance for all advice.

    Personally I believe avg isn't the best choice for antivirus protection :/
    You might consider switching to Panda ?

    Thanks Thrash, I definitely agree Free AVG isn't all that. Will Uninstall and install Panda tomorrow and take it from there
