    Loswdown on main machine

Now I have a problem with racking down what is wrong on my Ivy B because it is slowing down I and posting in here and in 10 I ma losing posts/replies.

Now I have tested the CPU (Intel test pass) Furmark leveled out et 67C after 45 minutes - but have no idea what that actually means ? pass hard drive tested up ok memtest 11 passes no errors all four slots being used. No bad caps that I can see on default BIOS settings

Have reseated most of the onboard cards but not the 3Gbs SATA cables

sfrc and chkdsk all no problems so I am clutching at straws here have looked through with HW Info and found what is in the pic but am not sure what this would do if anything to produce the problems .

Any advice really appreciated because finding a new board would be impossible.

Intel CPU's have built in thermal protection. If it heats up it can slow down. Is this what the problem is????

    Hi,
The cache state should be enabled when it's given load.

But if you don't have any problems while using the Ivy Bridge system, then you don't have anything to worry about :)

Intel CPUs can take max temps of 90c, OP's temps are still considerably under load.

Well thought I would ask but one thing is for sure the board or the CPU is not right because I keep losing posts in the forums whereas my other machines are ok.

Right now I cannot afford to replace either because a) you cannot get them except extreme pricing and b) for that sort of money I could go Skylake

Yep Roaster but it is the machine because my others are fine and using the same software I usually use except I swapped the MSE for the AV instead of my usual Kaspersky which someone thought might be the issue.

Hav now tested everything I can think of and having messed around with circuits nothing fancy usually audio stuff in the past it is just as if there is a cap that is either not charging properly and/or discharging quickly hence the sudden loss of the reply and the very slow start up now..

Golden has suggested the KB be changed and I might even use a different mouse if it is the KB then that will be a shame because it is probably the best I have ever owned.
