explorer.exe crashes every few days when typing into search bar

Sometimes, every few days or so if I go to type into the search bar, explorer stops responding.

    Faulting Application : Explorer.exe
    Faulting application module : Shell32.dll
    Exception code : 0xc0000005

Other than that, explorer works fine. The last time it crashed was about 10 days ago according to the reliability monitor, and it crashd today. Sfcscannow does not show any violations. I can only faintly remember having explorer issues after an nvidia driver update, but that was about 2ish months ago.

    Hi,
I noticed yesterday NVidia released a new driver I didn't download it yet but check and see if your showing one,
You haven't filled in your system spec's yet so we can not check
See the link above my signature for a easy to use forum feature to do it for you

I have downloaded the new drivers but it has not made a difference. About shell32.dll, does that relate to the context menu? Im confused as to why this happens, only if I go to the start menu search, every few days to a week it may out of a blue moon it just may suddenly stop responding, and explorer would have to restart.

    Hi,
Please use the forums spec's sheet fill tool,
So your information follows you with all of your replies,
Add which security suite you have install and in the notes or more information add what registry edit utilities you use and have ever used,
    Cheers.
