still no luck. I followed all of the steps for the clean boot. I also unistalled mcafee, and deleted the history but they still won't show

Good if so,
Lets go ahead and uninstall Chrome,
After that reset Internet Explorer exactly like this shows,
Export Favorites to html file before resetting Internet explorer/ just to be safe.

Accessing Internet Options from the Start menu search,
Make sure you Do Not enable any add-ons,
Click the image for it to enlarge,
Reset process first opening Internet explorer

You've already run the Temp files delete TFC utility I posted earlier ?
