what files are these?
Have you checked the Security tab to see if you have full control? Right-click the file, Properties and go to Security Tab. |

If you really want to remove them, make sure whatever account you are logged in with has been Given Full control. There are other restrictions eg from folder and parent folder permissions so you just have to sust it out.
Are ALL the acounts/groups in the Security have ONLY Special Permission? Go into the Advance tab and tell us what it is? |

Could these perhaps be something from ubuntu? |

w7 Administrators Group is not like Xp or any previous OS's where these give up Full Control if you are in it. Where are these files placed, and i'm still not sure what these files are (extension??). Note the exact location of the files and log on as the Root Administrator account and try and delete it.
NB: You may need to enable the root admin, and give it a new password if you don't know what it is. Try it. |

You need to take ownership of these files prior to deleting them.. See Brinks tutorial on doing this -=> Here
