windows 7 ultimate wont get to log in screen..

Hey guys this problem started yesterday and I havent been able to troubleshoot it just searching posts so some help would be great... im going to post every single detail I can think of to hopefully get the best help possible..

    1. Im working on an IBM ThinkPad, it is older but it was given to me months ago and has worked like a charm. As far as other specs tell me what you want to know and ill try and figure it out.
    2. When I turn the laptop on, it starts normally up untill the blue windows please wait screen where it says windows 7 ultimate on the bottom. after a bit the screen flashes black and has a Movable mouse. The screen stays like this for a bit then flashes back to the blue please wait screen. It never makes it to the log in screen.
    3. Ctl alt del has no effect at all.
    4. I have tried to start in Safe Mode. It will give me the sign in screen for safe mode BUT when I enter my password, it says: "the user profile service failed to logon" and " the remote procedure call failed and did not execute" and will not go further.
    5. When I try safe mode with networks I dont get the sign in screen.
    6. It will give me the command prompt.
    7. ive tried multiple times.to get the F8 boot screen to try and restore but i get a different screen that lists as follows...

    Windows 7/vista/server (pointer)
    Windows 7/vista/server
Windows 7/vista/server (debug - default mode)
    Windows 7/vista/server (debug -legacy mode)
Windows 7/vista/server (no SLIC - pointer)
    Windows 7/vista/server (no SLIC)
    Windows NT/2000/Xp
    Loader help

I havent clicked on all of these because I dont know what they do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you!

The screen you describe means the BIOS SLIC table has been modified to illegally crack the OS' Activation. You'll need to use a legal copy of Win7 to reinstall, or if you only have a key we can provide you with the installer to reinstall either a retail copy or the OS version which came preinstalled on your PC which should be printed on the COA sticker affixed to machine.

You can rescue your files first from the same steps for a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

But do you have a Win7 product key to use to reinstall or is there a COA sticker on the PC and what version is it for exactly?

You can install free Windows 10 (just changed from Windows 9) beta being released today: http://www.nineforums.com/windows-9-...tml#post149293.

It might be merely good to go or even a great experience as Win7 beta proved for many of us here.
