Two Touchscreen Monitors and One PC, how would I do multiple touches

    Hello,

Just a little bit about my set-up.

I have two 60inch sharp touchscreen boards that are connect via two separate HDMI's into two separate HDMI ports in graphics card.

My issue arises here, I am unable to touch both monitors (when it works, sharp drivers are shaky) simultaneously.

Is windows 7 capable of doing two separate mices, via one computer? (in this case, its not mice its touches)..

    Thanks in advance!!!:)

    Windows 7 can handle multitouch.

I suggest that if you're having issues, try uninstalling the sharp drivers and try using the windows generic drivers for touch. I am also sure you have tried this already, but make sure to get the latest version of the touch driver.

Also try calibrating the touch screen:

Use the following steps to calibrate your touch screen in Windows 7:

Click Start and then Control Panel, and next Hardware and Sound.
Under Tablet PC Settings, tap Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input.
On the Display tab, under Display options, tap Calibrate and then Yes to allow the program to make changes.
Follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate your touch screen.

The Tablet PC Settings are only available when your touch screen is properly detected. If the option is not visible, ensure that the USB cable is connected to your PC in case of an external touch screen display.

If calibration does not resolve your problem, tap Reset Calibration data under Display options on the Display tab. This will remove all previous calibration data and reset your monitor display back to default settings.

Just a note, my Touchscreen HP l2105tm and others I've set up each required a USB connection to the computer in addition to the VGA cable so the touch is available. DVI not used.
