NEW PC connects to network but NOT internet

    Hello,
i currently installed windows 7 X64 on a new PC, i installed the last updated realtek lan driver and the internet appears to be connected, but nothing works, i can't open any site, i can't use Utorrent or Skype or anything, just nothing works.
sometimes the browser works for just few seconds and it's dead slow, i can't even open google and just in a second it's frozen again.

I also tried this but still nothing works.
    1) go to start, type "cmd" in the search bar (without quotes), right click it and "run as administrator".
    2) type this: "ipconfig /release" (w/o quotes) and press enter.
    3) now type: "ipconfig /flushdns" (w/o quotes) and press enter.
    4) now: "ipconfig /renew" and press enter.

If that doesn't solve it, do the following

    1) type on the CMD window: "netsh winsock reset catalog" and press enter.
    2) after done, type: "netsh int ip reset reset.log" and press enter.

    Help please. !!

Is it giving you a correct internal IP, not 169.X.X.X? Also what motherboard model, and what driver did you install?

If you right click and choose status on the adapter then details it gives you your local address, if its address starts with 169. then it is the pc saying it can't find one. There are 3 revisions of that motherboard out which one do you have? GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-B85-HD3 (rev. 1.x)

first of all, i wanna thank you for helping me an taking so much of your time, i really appreciate it.

OK, it gives me the normal IP 192.168.1.101
    the motherboard is
    GA-B85-HD3
    Intel B85/rev2.0
    Socket1150/PCI-Ex16/ATX
    Gbe LAN/4 SATA

this may seen weird but i think the problem is in my Router configuration, cause i had this same problem with my cousin laptop once when i tried to connect it with my router.
Also i can't connect any of my smart phones with WIFI network.

P.S: my old PC works just fine, there's no problem at all with the internet (Same wire that i am using now on the new pc)

Could be the router then, what model is it? Does it have any Access control on, like MAC filtering? This would be the driver for your Lan. http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList...eries_win7.exe

    And glad to help.

It would be under the security area in general or in the wireless area and for the future do not show your outgoing ip the 47 one as that is what the world sees and what others use to do malicious things to you. It would be something to the extent of this Guide Me if that is enabled it will keep people from joining till their MAC is put in there.
