    Windows explorer not responding

Sometimes when I right click something on windows explorer I get an error message saying not responding. Its been happening a lot lately and I want to fix it. It seems to happen once everytime I turn on my laptop.

Hello and welcome W7A mate I have had this myself a few times and most times I can clear it up with these

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/433-disk-check.html < use the /f and /r options in Option2 if necessary
I don't know how you maintain your machine but it would be good for you to run CCleaner now and again CCleaner - page2 download from piriform and after you have Analysed and before you run the cleaner look at Options and then cookies any that are linked to sites you have a password for send to the right hand column listing then go back and run the cleaner.

Always good to run some other scanners than your real time AV and these are the three I advise to use.
