Windows 7: Unable to change attrib for unhide

Windows 7 Ultimate x32 bit
Unable to change attrib for unhide

I scanned my PD and cleaned the virus......
Now some files are hidden
In CMD i gave the command
attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*
where "G" was my external PD drive
but then it shows....
for all hidden files.........

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Windows 8.1 64-bit, Mac OS X 10.10, Linux Mint 17, Windows 10 Pro TP

I looked up a PD drive but don't know if that is the same as what you have as there may be more than one brand of them.
