Desperate Help - Sudden Conection Problems in some Apps.

    Hello to all the community.

I'm a new guy and I wouln'd be here if I wasn't desperate for help. I'm no IT or expert, but rather like an advanced home user, were I manage to solve my problems almost every time.

This time I've had no luck. I'm experiencing problems (so far detected) with Chrome, Skype, OneDrive and eMClient (my email client), where none of them are connecting to the internet. So far those are the only apps that I know that aren't working, and I know it's no Internet connection as IE, Google Drive, Evernote and almost every other app tha I use works and gets connected.

My guess is that all this problems where created by Outlook (Offie 365), because I tried to create an account which took to setup longer than ususal (Not Responding came to life), and after setup... everything was broke.

Has anyone experienced issues like this before? Perhaps some port configuration was lost?

Thank you. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)

    Regards,

    Ricardo A.

Can you do a System REstore to before the Outlook (Offie 365) event?

    My first thought too, Rich.

Next test for infection by installing Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware free editions, decline trial, Update and run full scans.

Then run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker.

These are pro forma so if nothing's worked by now to rectify the connections then uninstall Office and reboot.

Thank you guys for the enlightenment. Turns out that Outlook somehow messed up my Antivirus/Firewall. I realized this after I was unable to restore to a previous point (luckily I had a restore point) due to my antivirus being active, so when I started to disable it... voila, Skype got connected, tried the rest of the apps and did to.

I have now repaired my Antivirus/Firewall installation and it looks like everything is working fine. Also, I did tried previously a full system scan, Malwarebites, Spybot, tdsskiller, Registry Repair & even FixWin with no luck. Good thing to know my PC is clean though hahaha.

    Thanks again for your replies.
