Thank you Brink, I noticed your post total, over 62,000. I'm impressed, that's a lot of posts for any forum.

I am a late bloomer to the digital world, started with Windows Vista and would still be using it if my laptop
had not crashed. From there to 7, 8, 8.1 and now 10. I still have windows 7 on one laptop though.
Both of my laptops are multi- booted to Windows and Linux, currently Windows 10 and Linux Mint 17.3.
The other, Windows 7, Slackware 14 and Linux Mint. I don't need 2 of Linux Mint so I will shortly replace one with Debian.
Although the Linux systems come and go on my machines, Windows is here to stay, as it is my steady reliable, workhorse system, particularly Windows 7. My current endeavor is to learn the Windows command line, which requires some determined effort, since as you already know, there is very little that can't be done from the GUI in a Windows system. I have always appreciated the helpfulness of other computer users, both in Linux and Windows forums. Some day I hope to become proficient enough to be able to help others as well.:)

Hello Everyone.

I am a COMPLETE Windows fan and my favorite of them all is Windows 7. I have approx. 8 years in experience dealing with troubleshooting Windows. Windows 7 issues are my specialty and Windows 8, Windows 10 just getting situated.

I hope I can contribute a BUNCH to this forum because it's given me a lot over time when I was much more rather a novice.
