Hi everyone, recently my much better half said she would like to know more about computers on this old Vista laptop, but it does have a few problems now. So I’ve bought a Win 7 PC hoping we can learn things together, I am chuffed to bits of course.
No doubt will be asking you good folk a few questions, and looking at relevant tuition videos.
(Laptop’s mostly used for our scrapbook photos/village memories back to early 1940s). How sad is that?

Hi! cornemuse here. I a, a retired equipment operator, (40 years worth). Been playing with computers for 35 years. Never needed them for work, so they've always been toys for me.
I have finally gotten a W-7 computer, a used (obviously) Toshiba 505 laptop. I had installed XP 64 bit on it but it always seemed 'squirrilly', so I switched drives & installed 7. My goal is to make it as close to XP settings as possible. I will be bugging you all about this, wait and see!
Anyways, glad to be here, , , ,

(Have several comps with XP 32 & several with XP 64 & one with ubuntu) (now, one with 7)
