hi, i have win 7 64 bit os loaded with 4 gb RAM ... have disable swap file use from performance ... whot size should i put for speedy Win ??? C drive has 150 gb vacant ... Thanx

It depends on what you plan on doing with your PC : what applications you launch and the memory they use.
Although with only 4GB on a 64 bit OS, I wouldn't recommend disabling it. One good tip if you want more speed though is to put the pagefile on a different hard drive than the OS/Programs if you can.
Probably the best thing to check if you want accurate info on what pagefile size to choose (and not best guesses or speculations) is : Blogs - Mark's Blog - Site Home - TechNet Blogs (the ending part fits exactly what you want)

I would suggest you set the pagefile back to system managed. Except for some unusual situations this will be as close to optimum as to make no difference. Disabling the pagefile is more likely to impair performance than improve it, and it may well cause other problems as well. The pagefile was designed to improve performance and it usually does.
Putting the pagefile on an alternate drive may improve performance. Not that this must be a separate physical drive, not partition which would impair performance.
