    Stop session time out

Hi - I am the only user on my windows 7 PC. How do I stop my sessions from timing out? I do not want to have to re-login when I come back. Must be easy but can't find it in windows 7.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums

Go to Control Panel>Change view to small icons>about half way down click power options>change plan settins (on the one your using)>set both to never (screen and sleep)

Hey Dan - thank you very much. Not terribly obvious so I don't feel too dumb :)

Type power in the start menu and press enter would be easier.

Thats true, but i think showing them how to navigate into control panel at least is worth something.

Next time when i tell him to go to folder options i can just say,go to folder options in control panel. And this is a sure way,say in the instance that he had (most improbably) had another file named power or power settings, this avoids all confusion.
