File winre.wim is kind of a virtual DVD to be able to boot system in case of problems. It was on sda2 but you overwrote it. As you can see.... that file is not on C anymore.

indeed.... you have a 32bits recovery DVD and a 64bits windows system. Any other 64bits windows7 systems in the house?

Download and brun. Source Windows 7 Direct Download Links, Official Disk Images from Digital River . Can be used to reinstall. But also for startup repair for example. Tell me when done

How to burn: Burn a CD or DVD from an ISO file
Or simply: "To burn an ISO image in Windows 7, all someone needs to do is simply right-click on an ISO image and choose “Burn disc image”."

[all variants] [Boot-Repair] Graphical tool to repair the PC boot in one click There you can download an ISO to repair linux boot. Just download the ISO and burn it (can be done in win7 just like the win7 install DVD). Boot form it and follow instructions. Not working..... ask linux forum.

    Or.....
    1. Delete partition linux swap and linux OS partition.
    2. Install linux again

Hello Kaktussoft, I downloaded the boot-repair as suggested by you and followed the steps then it showed error that the Ubuntu partition (sda3) is full and that might cause the problem while booting. I posted about it in Ubuntu forums here: [ubuntu] Repaired Win7 and now cannot load GRUB and UBUNTU... and folks there recommended to shrink Win7 partition and add the new logical partition to Ubuntu partition by running a Ubuntu Live CD which will add space into Ubuntu partition and likely solve the problem...but Windows is not able to Shrink the volume of its partition...and someone recommended me to delete hyberfil.sys but that too didn't solve the problem...any help will be much appreciated...thanks. :)
