USB keyboard doesn't work before Windows login (can't access BIOS)

Hi guys, I've been at this for three hours. I hope you can help and I'll get to the point:

    - Need to access BIOS. USB keyboard (Logitech G110) not recognized until the Windows login screen loads.
    - No PS/2 ports (and blast it, I have a PS/2 keyboard that I can't use). Cannot get a USB->PS/2 adapter at this time.
    - I reset CMOS and disconnected the hard drive. This produced two lines saying there was no boot disk, did not drop me into the BIOS.
    - HP Pavilion P6000, model P6220f.
    - I have no other USB keyboards available.
    - The keyboard doesn't light up until the login screen.

The way these threads seem to go elsewhere is: "Can't get to BIOS with USB keyboard." "Okay, change your BIOS settings to turn on legacy." "But I can't access the BIOS!!!"

I'm trying not to purchase additional computer crap. I accept that there may be no way to do this. Thanks if you can help.

This may or may not help but it free.

Try other USB ports. One of them might be active at boot.

Double check for PS2 ports on the motherboard I/O panel.

Oh yeah, I tried all 6 USB ports (including the 2.0 ports in the back).

Could you give us exactly what motherboard you have.
Most of those HP motherboards came with PS2.

You are correct that motherboard does not have I/O PS2.
