    Are Event 300, 301, 302 normal?

    Hi,
sorry if this isn't the right place, please move as appropriate.

after the latest of my mysterious power-off occurrences, i've noticed in my event log that i'm getting the above events, are they normal or is something askew? machine's powering up and performing ok, haven't had a power-off for a couple days - as usual they're very erratic.

    cheers

    Hello wolfie138

When reading Event Viewer logs, looking at the Event ID alone is not enough to determine the severity of an occurrence of the Event. Other details such as Log Name, Event Source and Level are needed. Event Levels are either Critical, Error, Warning or Information. The "Information" events are normal enough, while the others should be less frequent.

If you are diagnosing abnormal shutdowns affecting Performance, then the Reliability Monitor is also useful. Reliability Monitor can show the user the time of abnormal or unexpected shutdowns that the system has detected.

I hope that helps answer your question.
