Look, I have been doing this for over a year. You boot in to a virtual system. That is the way it works regardless of any documentation you may have. You cant even alter the actual boot path in the bios. The boot path points to Virtual Network Volumes. Not a C: boot path. There is not even an operating system installed on the C: drive partition. The operating systems are on Virtual Network Volumes.

OK you therefore have three options

contact the administrator of the network and ask them if they can set up the system how you want it

return the hardware to the store and purchase a consumer laptop with downgrade rights to Windows 7

Use the system on windows 8.1 as it is set up to run

    No, you are incorrect.
    1. I have never had windows 7 or 8, operating systems, only the software keys.
    2. I have never had an administrator because I am a home user and have never required Enterprise software and I have never requested for purchase any other operating system other than windows 8 and Windows 7 Home Premium for home use.
    3. I can't use this system as it is set up to run because I litigate in the United States Federal Court and it compromises my First and Fourth Amendment rights to pro se litigation. No Bar Certified Attorney would ever go for the public sharing of client and legal case information before it was filed in a court of law. It is unheard of.
    4. What I can do is bring the issue before the United States Supreme Court for it to decide if I have to share my personal and legal information in order to used computers I pay for and I pay for the software license and the hardware legally belongs to me. It is an illegal violation of my property and my communication rights within the Bill of Rights First Amendment and a violation of my rights within the Bill of Rights Fourth Amendment to have my information searched and my Privacy violated.
    5. I was sold hardware and software I have not gotten. It is false advertisement and defrauding a purchaser for the computer not to comply with advertised specifications. Read the Microsoft User agreement. It even states that it does not recommend the installation of multiple Virtual Operating systems because of the security risks involved in doing so. Microsoft also does not authorize switching operating system software licenses. All of the system files on my computer are Microsoft, so you are wrong about who the software belongs to. Asus configures its software to suit the configuration. All the other software configures itself to the configuration including adding their own servers

This means nothing at all to us on this independent website that is based in the UK and subject to English law
We have nothing to to with Microsoft, Asus, or Best Buy
Why you print a rant such as the above here is beyond my comprehension

    Good bye

Anybody that does not believe, especially the owners of G75VX's should just take a look at the X: volume and see if there is a an operating system on the volume. You can used DiskPart to see the volumes that are installed between the C: drive partition and the operating system. X: volume is a hidden volume. You can boot in to recovery to see it. It even has Microsoft Setup.exe on the volume.

We've explained to you twice now that X: is the installation or repair disk. Setup.exe would indicate it is the installation media. If you'd actually listen and follow the steps we tried to give you instead of replying with unhinged rants, we could help you sort this out like we do every day here better than anywhere else. But you are caught in a drama loop that needs relinquishing before we can help you achieve the same perfect install that we've helped a million others get.

Well saturn you don't like Best Buy, Acer, Microsoft operating system that's fine with me.
Why don't you give a Mac system a try. You might like it. I'm thinking you will like a Apple product.

    Have a nice day
