    VC Runtime

    Hello,

I've found a folder in my ProgramData which has several subfolders for VC Runtime. I've only had my computer a few months, but I've never noticed this before, and don't ever recall seeing it on any other computer I've ever had. The subfolders all have files related to VC Runtime.

Googling VC Runtime, I can't find anything related to any of the programs I have on my computer. What programs are associated with VC Runtime, and is it safe to delete this folder if I don't use any of those programs?

Is the name of the folder VC Runtime? If not, what is the exact name.

Everything I've found says do not delete the Package Cache folder or any of it's content. For instance:

There are large numbers of program that require these files. Most likely they are there because they were installed by an application you use. Deleting these files would likely have unfortunate consequences.
