    Progress Bar missing in taskbar

Hey guys , first time poster here :)

Recently the progress bar (the green one in the taskbar icons) started working only for Firefox and IE , and not showing for windows explorer or media player classic and such...

    any ideas?

    Thanks for answering me :)

Progress bar as in the green bar filling up in the taskbar when you copy something or extract/install...suddenly it works only for firefox and IE but not for standard file folders or media player classic...quite annoying as it helped me a lot before..

    thanks in advance

    Is this what you mean?

I couldn't find anything with a Google search that would help (yet).

Exactly my good sir , i've searching a lot myself too and couldnt find anything , its kind annoying actually when especially when you have about 40 or so open windows transferring files and check them from the taskbar instead of opening them one by one :)

    System File Checker

Maybe some files have become corrupted.

    Have you tried running sfc?

Open the Command Prompt (Use the "Run as administrator" option in the context menu).

    Type:
    sfc /scannow
    Tutorial
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
