Any way to arrange files in a folder in any order?

I wanna arrange a bunch of folders in my own order but how do I arrange them in any order?

It seems that Windows wants me to arrange them by date, size, etc.

You could disable auto arrange to be able to arrange items in folders in any order you like. :)

I can't arrange my files. Only by folder.

Hello, Whenever I transfer my favorite’s folder (IE), frm one HD to another….. The fav. Folder re-arranges all my sites “alphabetically automatically”. I prefer to have them in certain order as I placed them…. So any solution to combat this ?
