OK try the on screen keyboard. to get logged in. does the keyboard work to get to bios or the safe mode options. if so try starting laptop and keep pressing F8 to get to safe mode options in the list their should be a last know configuration try that.

Okay...Oscer....THANKS VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP !! Alright.....I did the F8 thing again and brought up the safe mode options. There was also an option to "repair my computer" I clicked that option and the keyboard is working for now but,I am at a crossroads as to which option to choose..... "startup repair (I don't think this is the right one),"system restore","system image recovery" (not sure about this because I didn't create a system image.Wish I had),"windows memory diagnostic" (probably not),"command prompt" (not me yet, buddy),or,"recovery manager" ???

Also,I just can't understand why this happened.I did do about 13 winupdates earlier but all was fine after.I'm assuming that this all has to do with this lousy synaptics driver ! Ugh !! BUT ! My understanding is that Windows has it's own driver for the touchpad (apparently). So,why would uninstalling the synaptics driver make my pc do all this crazy crap ???

i would try the system restoreto go to a restore point. first and see how that goes. yeah it should have the basic drivers for touchpad and keyboard.
