    cant boot pc in ANYWAY!

My pc couldnt boot in any way so I reeinstalled windows ( after a lot of tries ) and now I cant boot it as well, but I was able to do It twice and on both times a boot device ( from when you press esc when the pc starts ) disapeared and I was left with two boot devices, when it came back I couldnt boot again, what should I do?

Note: I cant use system repair ( our whatever its called) since it freezes , I cant use the windows disk since it freezes either I press setup or repair, I cant use safe mode since it stops at CLASSPNP.sys, I cant start it normally since it freezes at the windows logo and there is a boot device that if I select it shows "BOOTMGR is missing press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"

Hi and welcome to 7F. Would be very helpful if you completed your System Specs please. When reinstalling Windows did you disconnect all other hard drives and had only the drive you're installing Windows on connected. Go into your BIOS and set your CD/DVD drive to be the 1st boot device or if installing from a USB stick set that to be the 1st boot device. Try to reinstall Windows using this guide and see if that helps

    Hi,

you also might want to check the hard drive. use the manufatures diagnostic tools to do that. Hard Drive Diagnostics Tools and Utilities (Storage) - TACKtech Corp. if you do not know the brand of hard drive can try seatools for dos. SeaTools for DOS | Seagate works on most drives

Also; here is another link in addition to shin's that may help ya out:

Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Boot

Even though it involved some steps used in system repair; still; you could try the steps and see if anything works for ya.

Would the antivirus ( step 2 ) work on my second hard drive? Because on the 2 times I was able to boot sucessfully my second hard drive was gone, maybe there are virus in it

Unplug the other hard drive to do the repairs as it may be interfering. Only after you get Win7 repaired or reinstalled would I plug back in the other HD, makings sure the WIn7 HD remains set first to boot in BIOS.
