    Windows 7 32-bit running sluggish

I was hoping to get some opinions of some programs to run to diagnose what is causing my father-in-law's Windows 7 32-bit Dell system from running so slowly. It's been a few years since I've had to work on his older system and I'm not sure of some good diagnostic programs to run other than Malwarebytes (which I have run). I don't have his specs offhand but for right now am hoping for some good diagnostic tools to run. Thank you very much in advance!

Back up all his data, re install windows :)

    Add memory

    It`ll fly

    Clean Install Windows 7

Post the exact make and model, we can advise on adding memory or installing 64 bit.

    Use caution SpideyPaul.

    Their are no magic programs.
If you do find one they are snake oil.
As indianacarnie has pointed out this tutorial would be a good place to start.
