Making bootable USB Flashdrive for Win 7 or 8

I would like to prepare a bootable USB Flashdrive For Windows 7,and Windows 8.
One of the steps requires WINDOWS 7 ISO IMAGE or WINDOWS 8 ISO IMAGE.
I have both windows original disks which came with Dell computers.
How can I prepare their isoimages?

It would easier to just download the ISO for Windows 7 here,

Windows 7 Direct Download Links, Official Disk Images from Digital River

For windows 8 this should help with that,

Wintobootic works perfectly to put the iso file on the flash drive.

    rufus is good too.

I prefer this site for the iso files.

4GB normally works, 8GB is probably better.

Thanks for comments from all of you.
I now have a basic question. As I described in the original post, I have the original Windows (7 and 8) installation DVD disks which came with Dell computers.

What is the advantage of using "a bootable USB Flashdrive For Windows" compared to the use of original Windows DVD disk.?

There is no real advantage, that I know of.

But for most people a dvd is much easier to use, installing from a flash drive can be quite tricky for a novice.
