IE, Skype, MS Games not working at computer start-up

    Hi Guys,

I am a newbee in that forum and I come to you because I have a very strange issue that I cannot resolve by myself despite my multiple trials and web searches...

This happens after I start my computer. The following problems occur simultaneously :
    - IE11 (and Chrome) do not open some web sites (i.e. VATTASTIC => Your looking glass into the world of Vatsim that includes a map with real time information, and showing the message {vattastic.com is not responding}. Even I reload the page, nothing happens...
    - Skype is unable to connect and shows {Skype Home unavailable}. Meanwhile and from my tablet, Skype perfectly works.
    - No PDF document can be open with Adobe PDF reader XI
    - More surprising, both my FreeCell and Solitaire (my favourite games) crash... {not responding}.

WHAT COULD BE THE COMMON REASON ???

Even if I restart the computer 2 or 3 times, nothing changes.

While keeping the computer switched on, it goes on Sleep mode and as soon as I wake it up after some time, and for an unidentified reason, all things work again .
So those days, I do not stop my computer except if, for software update reason, I am asked to.

Is there anybody who has faced the same situation ???
    I would appreciate an assistance.
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Bruno

    check event logs.

Interesting issue. Few questions for you.

Are you connected to a router?
If yes; does your router have a firewall?

    Is your Windows Firewall active?
If yes; have you patched IE/Firefox/Chrome through it?

I tested the website, it worked for me, flawlessly. When did it stop working, let us know exactly what changes you made between then and now. The more information the better.

Just as a courtesy note, IE sucks, and should be avoided at all costs, unless it's a site thats strictly for IE. Also, if skype isn't working, it's most likely a network problem. If it works on your tablet, then it's for sure your computer. I'll keep working and thinking from my end.

    Edit:

Also, what operating system are you using?
