    Changing owner name in registry

Have son in law's 64bit Win 7 PC. Want to change his name as registered owner to mine. Found the appropriate registry entry. Clicked on that entry and following options appeared leaving me bemused:-

    New
    Key
    String Value
    Binary Value
    DWORD 32bit value
    QWORD 64bit Value
    Multi-string Value
    Expandable String Value

Any clue to how I should proceed?

Am always cautious about fiddling with registry so had only right clicked once on the relevant entry rather than double clicking on it. It has worked perfectly.
Greatly appreciate you taking the time to point me in the right direction.
