Stopped after “Verifying pool data”

Hi All,
I have a problem,
This morning I booted up my computer and it stopped after
“Verifying pool data”
After that it tells me to press ALT+Ctrl+Del to restart.
I had to do this 5 times to get it going again.
This happened once before about a week ago but only required 1 re-boot.
I ran crystal Disk info and both my drives are fine.
So the question is do I need to re-install windows or refresh it with a repair install?
Any help will be appreciated.

I ran chkdsk, but was called away from my computer and when I came back, windows was running and so I don’t know if anything was done.
Then I ran sfc /scannow and it tells me it found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them and that more information is listed in CBS.log file. I found the file and it is 1100KB big.
I have no idea what I am looking at.
So, for now I will just start my computer normally and not worry about it till it happens again.
Hopefully it was fixed enough to make it run normally.

I got a new desktop PC. It works fine, but on each startup it gives me the line "Verifying DMI Pool Data". It seems to be part of the normal booting process, but my other PC never does that, and when I researched it on the web I read that it might be a serious error. Now I'm confused. The specs...

OK, so I've gone back to trying to use Windows 7 as my main OS, and as much as I hate it, I am forced to do so because certain features I need are not supported on XP. As expected, it did a good job of reminding me just why I hate it so much. Here's the thing: I am trying to preformat my hard...

Verifying DMI Pool Data
I have noticed in the past couple of weeks that, when booting up my PC, this message sticks quite a lot longer than it used to. Usually it takes only a few seconds to get past this, but now every time I boot, it can stick for as long as 10 seconds maybe. What does "Verifying DMI Pool Data" mean...
