I've ordered a new full package of win 7 pro so that might solve my problems but just to say that I tried installing a program which wouldn't install before the reinstall of win7 and it works - so we have one Whoopeeeeee today! Once I have a new key everything should be ok..

Did you call the PC builder and MS Customer Service at the number I gave you?

That MS Answers chat is for Surface tablet. You do not need tech support, you need customer service to deal with possible piracy by your builder.

I'm glad to hear the initial problem is resolved. Now stick with the steps for Clean Reinstall Windows 7
and you'll maintain a perfect install to the exact extent you do.

What are these problems? You want to work with us on those and let MS deal with the possibly counterfeit Win7 you were sold.

Yes I do but I have to use my computer for my business all the time and that's why I've bought the new copy of win 7 for the key. I will ring microsoft today but I still have a problem with net version 4.5 not installing each time I boot up.. it says the framework needs to be repaired but doesn't finish. I will ring microsoft shortly when I've finished the animals! (farm first)

Ok so I rang them and was told that I could contact someone about the product but had to ring their legal team in the USA - there is no department in Europe who can help. As for the current issues re having to buy a new product for the key and technical support - they weren't interested.. obviously only works if you are American! So glad I paid for a new copy.. at least i won't have too long to wait to get things running properly.. They really aren't interested in bogus products at all!- pretty had though for people like me...

Are you sure you were speaking with MS official company Customer Service? Did you get the name of the agent? Please try again and this time get the name of the agent and time you called. I will inquire with the company about it.

Uninstall Net Framework 4.5 in Control Panel, reboot and reinstall it from Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 (Offline Installer) for Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 SP2 Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Windows Server 2012 from Official Microsoft Download Center

Yes I rang the UK number which of course must have gone through to the USA and to the technical department - seemed the most likely .. and no I didn't get his name but he wasn't bothered at all...
