Computer constantly restarts --- works fine in safe mode.
Hello everyone,
I am back with more computer issues.
So yesterday. My room mate decided to run an Ethernet cable from our router upstairs and change our router location. (this I dont believe has much relevance to my issue, but explaining what happened yesterday). He said he only removed my Ethernet cable and did not touch anything else.
So as to my surprise yesterday, I turn my computer on... it loads normally but then my monitors begin to flash and turn off.
I have a 26" and a 22" one VGA, one HDMI running on a 2gb MSI gtx 770.
The monitors turned off for about 15 seconds, then I saw my desktop again, then it turned off and actually restarted.
It loaded, I thought maybe for some odd reason an auto update restarted it. When it signs back in, it begins happening again.
I assume a virus, or something screwy along those lines. So I boot to safe mode. I run MSE and malware byes...nothing.
I check the cables in the back, everything is in correct and tight. I browsed around and found nothing online giving me any idea what could be causing it.
Has anyone ever experienced this issue, or know what could be causing it? I cleaned my computer out recently, I dont think theres too much dust in there. Anything you would recommend, or where to star in determining the issue?
Thanks.
