    Hi everyone ,

    My computer is joined to domain and i have local admin rights to it.
    my application requires to write a log file but due to rights issues i am not able to write the logs.
    I have rights in Manage audit and security logs in local group policy, i have even reset all the local polices.
    what could be the issue please guide me

    Quick and dirty solution would be to "run as administrator".

    For the real answer, where is that log file located?
    Make sure the program is dropping the file into a user-writable location in the disk or if it's a network drive, that you have write access to it.

    I am running the application as RUN AS Administrator, it is writing in D Drive,
    The application is running perfectly but it is not writing in D drive. This is not issue with application , it is for sure only privileges issue.

    OK, then next question should be, what are the permissions in "D drive"? Specifically, in the folder where that log file should be saved
