Installed Software Shortcut Not open without Admin Password.

    Dear Experts,

need a support for the following issue.

I have installed a software and whenever i want to run its shortcut at my desktop of windows7 it prompts for UAC and ask to put the administrator password first to run.

please let me know how can i get out of this issue for such a specific software.

    Thanks.

    Hello Gator.

    Thanks for your response.

the user is a standard user and don't have admin rights. whenever i try to run the installed software it propmpts for admin password to run. The following link you provided is i think for an administrator user.

my only purpose is to run the specific software without prompting the UAC as it says no trusted publisher.

will the below link resolve my problem?

Do you have access to the Administrator account? In other words, do you have the password for the Administrator account?
