I don't know what you mean by dual graphics. If you meant if I have an intel graphics adapter (as in from the processor) and an actual graphics card that is the gtx 970, then yes.

I just disabled the Nvidia in device manager and took it out of the case. There are no drivers with it too. Now I'm running Intel Graphics accelerator only.
And yes, I installed Windows using my old laptop, then moved it to my desktop. I didn't think that'd be a problem. I had no idea you have to change things when you switch motherboard. I only installed it using the laptop though, I didn't download drivers or anything. I only did that when I moved it to my desktop.

I don't think it is Dual Graphics if this was a self-build. Who built it? The Dual Graphics is normally an Intel onboard chip and an Nvidia controller that switches to Nivida on heavier tasks. As I said this would be discussed in your Manual if this is the way the build came and it was preinstalled Dual Graphics, or you would know about it if you built it yourself.

Maybe the Intel is sufficient for your needs and will run well enough, but if not then the problems you're having with your Nvidia may be related to changing hardware without the drivers being changed out correctly for all the controllers. Did you notice when you moved the HD that it swapped out most drivers? Are drivers associated with your laptop still in the Device Manager installed on this build too?

I cannot think of a case I've seen lately that needs Clean Reinstall Windows 7 more than this one. If you stick with the tools and methods in that tutorial then you will achieve and maintain a perfect install for as long as you do.

I'd say that it's crashing about the same. Doesn't the Intel graphics come with the processor? That was my thought..

How do i check if the laptop drivers are still in my computer? I did not have internet when I first ran Windows, so no updates went through.

Also, I built this computer myself. My roommate also used my laptop to install his windows and it's running with no problems. Is this really that big of an issue? I recently just bought a disk drive, so if i have to I'll just go ahead and reformat the other ssd and see how it runs.

@Greg, I agree - I believe the NVidia was an add-on, Intel is onboard.

Yes I did make sure to restart. The crashes didn't really stop or change in frequency. I think you're right on saying that Intel is onboard.
