Highlighted menu image stuck on desktop

I have an interesting issue. One of my users get the highlight of the save as from the drop down menu stuck on her desktop when she saves a PDF out of her Outlook e-mail. It sits on top of any other window and shows up on print screens but isn't interactive at all. It goes away when she logs off.

I have looked in her task manager to see if there is a hung program but nothing seems to jump out as not normal. Both Outlook and Adobe show as being closed.

Anyone see something like this before?

Not sure, but she might see if refreshing (F5) the desktop may remove it. If not, then restarting explorer may.

Explorer - Add "Restart Explorer" to Desktop Context Menu

Hopefully, she won't have to log off to remove it.

Between having my users restart explorer and logging off and on I will take the later. Having them touch command line is not something I am comfortable with.

Talked with the user some more and she told me that it seems to occur after she uses Snipping Tool and that program is acting very sluggish. Not sure if it is related.
