Try a clean startup. Same problem? Troubleshoot Application Conflicts by Performing a Clean Startup

If problem is gone.... follow tutorial and test.... find the culprit.

The clean start up didn't solve the problem.

After restart, new "?" signs were added to some of the icons on the desktop (that were "clean" before that). This is so strange!

Could be some sort of a PuP or infection.

You could run this. It will take some time.When done post logs.

I see eset found and got rid of the B/S.
That is good but didn't solve the problem.

I will go back to thinking and watching. If I get anymore ideas I will let you know.

[HELP] Red "x" on disk icons, desktop icons changed!
Hey, guys. Finally I have found the place where my problem might get solved. Thing is: 1.There is a big "X" on 3 out of 4 disks I got(except "C" disk) as shown in the picture below: http://i42.tinypic.com/15fssas.jpg 2.Desktop icons are changed as well but not all of them.
