How do I install Windows 7 with no OS?

    Hi,
I have a question about installing Windows 7. So my school had a surplus sale on old computers, I got an HP computer. The school had to wipe out the OS on all the computers and I had to install an OS on my own. So I bought Windows 7 Home Premium x64. At the start up I pressed custom and the two options were Disk 0 Partition 1 at around 75GB and Disk 0 Partition 2 at around 18GB. But I cant pick any of them because they are not NTFS. So I go over to the "command" and do the "list volumes" but the only thing that pops up is the installation CD. What should I do?

    See this tutorial by gregrocker:
Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
Boot the Windows 7 installer, choose Custom Install, then at the Drive Selection screen access the Drive Options (Advanced) to Delete all partitions not needed, repartition and format as shown in Steps 7 and 8 of Clean Install Windows 7 - these illustrated steps will guide you through actual install.
Here is the other tutorial by Brink that Greg references:
