    Suspicious EXE Eating up Memory

My computer has been working fine up until a few days ago, when suddenly my computer began to slow to a crawl. Programs would freeze and crash, and sometimes my computer would automatically alt+escape to the desktop while I was playing a game. I looked in the task manager, and there are several (12 right now) "Xflfrlbsgu.exe" programs running. I've googled the program many times, but to no avail. Each one is using 40,000 kb or more memory (some go up to 150,000!), and every time I try to end one, a bunch more come back in its place. I searched my computer for Xflfrlbsgu.exe, and no results were returned, which worries me. Here's all of the information I have on the process (it's not much):

    Name: Xflfrlbsgu.exe
    Description: Google Chrome

Since the description says "Google Chrome", I tried uninstalling it (google chrome) and restarting the computer, but they're still here. Any ideas? I'm at a loss, and I'm beginning to panic.

    Welcome to the forum larynachos.

Their is a very good chance that this is causing part of your problem. I know of no product from IoBit that I and many others would have on their system.

    From specs.

    Antivirus IoBit
    Browser Google Chrome; Firefox

IoBit is the publisher that owns a lot of diagnostic software (Advanced System Care, IoBit Malware Fighter, Smart Defrag, Game Booster, etc), and I doubt they are responsible.

It may or may not be the problem, but you are well advised to read this, then consider whether you would trust the software developer with your system:

Check Chrome for any add-on's, and disable them.

I actually laughed out loud at this. Like the way OP sprang to the defense of Iobit as if OP sits on the Board of Directors or something. I was going to say "EVERYONE" knows that Iobit probably shouldn't be trusted and then I caught myself. I need to get out more. I really shouldn't know instinctively that Iobit is not to be trusted.

At any rate larynachos you don't have adequate virus protection. And that's your issue.
Now you need help with malware removal. Good luck to you.

May I please be forgiven for the LOLs.

I would scan for malware NOT with IOBit. Personally I wouldn't touch anything from IOBit with a 50 foot barge pole, YMMV.

Eset Online Scanner: Free Virus Scan | Online Virus Scanner from ESET

    EDIT:
I really shouldn't know instinctively that Iobit is not to be trusted.
Ain't it the truth. Like hiring a thief to guard your house while you're away. Thanks for the laughs.
