    On mouserover applications open automatically

After I login the screen goes wild with applications opening. When I move mouseover an application
icon the application automatically opens but you cannot use.

The screen is effectively a mess of applications opening, it doesn't appear the applications that have opened are closing either.

I am thinking this may have something to do with the mouse config, but I cannot access any application to check it. Applications keep opening until the computer finally stops.

It could be malware. Try booting in safe mode. If that is stable run MBAM

If you can't do it that way you may need to make a bootable USB with a malware cleaner.

This is the third time this has happened. I'm not quite sure I got it fixed.

I recall using a Kapersky tool TSSKiller, and another tool that fixed this. I don't recall the name of that one.

Is this a rare problem? Maybe the reason I am having such a hard time fixing is the way I describe the problem.

I have gone back into the OS and what I have found. The mouse may not have anything to do with it.
The OS just keeps opening applications one after the other. I don't recognize the sequence. I am not sure what triggers it now since I quit moving the mouse around. It could just be mouse movement and it has nothing to do with the position of the mouse.

Nothing happens until use the mouse to click on the first icon, then it won't allow you to put cursor on anything. Sometimes you can use the tab key to try to activate, but it seems that function is turned off.

I found some fixes... click the blue text below "bleeping

Bleeping Computer - Technical Support and Computer Help

I downloaded from the site and ran the comboxfix from safe mode, Rkill, and adwcleaner.

I'm not sure which one fixed it.

But it appears to be fixed for now.

    Thanks for your responses. :)

Yeah, those type of malwares usually have a specific tool named after them that gets rid of them. Tough to hit the search sometimes without the name. Glad you cleared it up. :)
